The second season of At Home With The Furys on Netflix sees the former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury shopping for bargains, despite his huge fortune\"Tyson<\/p>\n

Tyson Fury<\/a> is set to pocket around \u00a315 million from his upcoming fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The former heavyweight world<\/a> champion is said to be worth a cool \u00a3160 million thanks to all of his boxing<\/a> triumphs.<\/p>\n

However, at home, it seems the self-proclaimed Gypsy King enjoys a simple life shopping for bargains at Asda<\/a> supermarket, refusing to throw out his well-worn clothes and even enjoying a cheeky McDonald\u2019s. His private life is laid bare in the new \u2013 and second \u2013 season of his fly-on-the-wall series At Home With The Furys on Netflix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It shows how, just like Del Boy, the 37-year-old boxer loves a bit of wheeling and dealing in everyday life as he loves to bag a bargain. Despite being worth multi-millions, he won\u2019t ever throw anything away.<\/a><\/p>\n

In one episode, viewers will see his wife Paris sew up a pair of his old trousers for the sixth time as he has ripped the crotch area yet again and she has a go at him pointing out that he can well afford to buy a new pair.<\/a><\/p>\n

But he explains: \u201cWhy is everything about affording? I can afford a f***ing castle but I don\u2019t wanna live in one. I like them pants. People used to sew everyday in the olden days and I am not a big waster.<\/p>\n

\u201cI shop in Asda for God\u2019s sake. I do enjoy a deal whether it\u2019s for 50 pence or 50 million. It\u2019s just a part of who I am wheeling and dealing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris, 36, also reveals how the family have very simple tastes despite their wealth. After the pair stage a wedding vow renewal ceremony in the south of France, they sit down to a posh lunch in a luxury chateau.<\/p>\n

But when they are served an amuse bouche by the chef to cleanse their palates, <\/a>they all hate it. And she admits: \u201cOur ever classy palates are not impressed. It was like the after taste. I swear I spat it out. Posh people\u2019s food isn\u2019t for me. I am down for a McDonald\u2019s any day over that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple have seven children – Venezuela, 16, Prince, 13, Tyson II, eight, Valencia, six, Adonis, five, Athena, four, and Rico, two. And they admit they would love more. \u201cI want ten,\u201d he confesses.<\/p>\n

Tyson is fully expecting that his boys <\/a>(especially Prince) will all follow in his footsteps and become boxers. However, Paris is not keen and admits: \u201cThey\u2019re better off out of the boxing. I don\u2019t want to watch Adonis, who is six, have a spar!\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyson was born in Manchester<\/a> and took up the sport when he was just ten years old. He began competing as a teenager and made his professional debut in the ring at the age of 20.<\/p>\n

In his first fight in December 2008, he defeated Bela Gyongyosi from Hungary in the first round.<\/a> Calling himself The Gypsy King \u2013 a nod to his traveller family roots – he went on to become the WBC heavyweight champion of the world . But in 2025, just months after losing a match against Ukrainian-born Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, he decided to retire.<\/p>\n

Despite looking like the hard man of the ring with his shaved head and tattoos, Tyson is a doting and loving father to his children.<\/a><\/p>\n

But he admits he has often struggled in the role and sometimes takes a deliberate step back from parenthood because he believes Paris is a better parent. For him, she is the glue that keeps the whole family together. He says: \u201cSome people are not cut out for looking after kids and I am one of them. I\u2019d be f***ed if we got divorced.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the series, viewers will see how he upsets his 16 year old daughter Venezuela after he decides to become an influencer.<\/a> She returns with her mum \u2013 full of beans and very excited \u2013 having taken part in a photo shoot to promote herself in the media. Tyson puts his foot in it by declaring <\/a>that young people only want to become \u2018famous\u2019 without any effort or talent these days.<\/p>\n

And he barks: \u201cI am famous because I have been a two time world heavyweight champion. I have done a million thousand achievements. I can write a table full of them. We are just in an era where you can get famous for what? Getting your t*ts out on telly? Today\u2019s people are not famous in reality. They have done nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

And he hits the roof when he discovers his daughter has had a boyfriend called Noah Price <\/a>whom she has not only kept secret from the family but also wants to marry her. After the pair finally meet, Tyson laughs: \u201cHe was absolutely sh***ing himself to meet me. I don\u2019t know why. What was he expecting I was gonna do? Bite him?\u201d<\/p>\n

Viewers will also see Tyson struggle to communicate with his 13 year old son Prince who<\/a>, like many young teens, is prone to strops and moods. The boxer tells him bluntly: \u201cI sometimes think – is there anything in that mind of yours? Trying to get a conversation out of Prince is like trying to get a conversation out of an egg!\u201d<\/p>\n

Exhausted Paris confides: \u201cTyson is very chaotic with his parenting skills!\u201d<\/p>\n

But one thing is clear. He wants his children to enjoy adventures and experiences out in the real world <\/a>\u2013 rather than through an iPhone<\/a> or iPad screen. He says: \u201cI like to get them out of the house, off the computers, off the phones, off all the sh*t of today and into the real world! A father is very important in children\u2019s lives especially the sons. In our world, the mother teaches the daughters how to be women and the father teaches the sons how to be men.\u201d<\/p>\n

The documentary was filmed after Tyson decided to retire from the ring following his defeat against Usyk<\/a>. He proclaims he is \u2018happy\u2019 being in retirement and enjoying more time with his family. But as the months pass, he is lured back into the sport \u2013 something that divides the family.<\/p>\n

His little daughter Athena has him welling up with tears when she tells him in front of the cameras: \u201cIt makes me cry a bit because you are not boxing any more and it was your ambition. I think his whole career and dream was to be a boxer. Me mam thinks he has done enough boxing but I just think he should not give up.\u201d<\/p>\n

However his dad John, who was also a boxer, is not happy and says: \u201cIt\u2019s like a drug for him.\u201d Wife Paris adds: \u201cThat lunatic still wants to box. It is like an addiction to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyson confesses that he tried to avoid boxing events because he would come face-to-face with the temptation of getting back in the ring. However when an offer to return did come his way, he could not refuse it. He explains: \u201cNothing could compare to what I do in boxing. It is a different experience going to watch a fight rather than do it yourself. This is why I don\u2019t attend fights any more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I go to boxing events and I am sat ringside and everything is good you feel like you wanna return. I can\u2019t get over it. It is like being an alcoholic but always chilling out in a pub. How do you ever expect not to be an alcoholic? All the time the temptation is there. The millions of pounds offers. The big nights. The belts. It is all a temptation. If you are around that environment, around someone who is always talking millions or always talking big deals then more than likely you are gonna take a big deal. Impulsive decisions are very common for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyson \u2013 who has had well-publicised mental health battles and is also bipolar \u2013 sensationally admits that whenever he won a boxing match, he \u2018felt nothing\u2019.<\/p>\n

It was only when he lost, that he got emotional because he had suffered a defeat. Before he fought Usyk, he had depression as he wasn\u2019t feeling anything And he actually thanks the Ukrainian for giving him his \u2018mojo\u2019 back by beating him.<\/p>\n

He adds: \u201cWhen you can do anything and have anything you want, you don\u2019t appreciate nothing. All those wins I had, all the 17 years of being undefeated, it didn\u2019t make me feel anything. I had no feeling.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut when I lose I enjoyed that because I felt something for the first time in years. The loss I had to Usyk was heartbreaking . On the night I 100 per cent did not think they were going to give Usyk a decision. Because I didn\u2019t believe I had lost it was like an emotional feeling. It was hard to take.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I had won them fights it would have been meaningless to me. But because I didn\u2019t win them I felt something which I can identify now as a beautiful feeling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been all over the world. I have dined with kings and emperors and rulers of countries. But I am a man who sits here and wants nothing in life. But when you give up the passion to want\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris interrupts him by completing the sentence with: \u201cYou give up the passion to live.\u201d She admits that his revelations \u2018frighten\u2019 her as it takes her back to 2016. That was the time her husband was in a very dark place and suffered severe depression, alcoholism, and drug addiction which led to a near-fatal suicidal crisis when he nearly drove a Ferrari at 190 mph into a bridge.<\/p>\n

She tells him bluntly in front of the TV cameras: \u201cYou frighten me when you talk like this. You are not right in the head. When you do all this dark talking I don\u2019t like all that. Your head isn\u2019t right and when you think all that stuff you get yourself into a depression.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s taking me back to 2016 when he didn\u2019t want to train or exercise or engage in life, asking what is the point in living why should he live, what is it all for? Alcoholism and drug abuse and coming home crying his eyes out.. asking what is the point in life.\u201d<\/p>\n

But he assures her: \u201cBut I am able to heal. I am not depressed. At least we are feeling something now. I have been unable to feel for a long time because nothing mattered to me at all. Now I can feel again. I need to thank Oleksandr for that to be fair.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second series ends with The Furys moving out of their home in Morecambe in Lancashire. Fans will be thrilled to know that Netflix has ordered a third season charting the next chapter in their lives which will no doubt include his fight against Makhmudov.<\/p>\n

Despite their ups and downs, including Paris suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage two years ago, you can guarantee that they will still be together. Tyson proclaims that there are \u2018no divorces in our culture\u2019. And he proudly boasts: \u201cWe\u2019ve been together for 20 years now. We argue every week but we stick it out!\u201d<\/p>\n
