Here\u2019s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds. For full listings go over to our What\u2019s On calendar here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n We start on Saturday morning with the Middleton Makers Market<\/strong><\/a>, 10am-2pm, at Middleton Park Circus. Lots of lovely handmade items including clothing, jewelery, soaps and food; all made by local people.<\/p>\n Gamers will be keen to get to the Doom: The Dark Ages exhibition<\/strong><\/a> at the Royal Armouries Museum<\/strong><\/a> at Leeds Dock LS10 1LT, which runs until Friday. Admission is free.<\/p>\n Trinity Network<\/strong><\/a> host their Community Reflections Caf\u00e9 on Saturday 10am-12pm at the United reformed Church, Nesfield Avenue, Belle Isle, LS10 3LG<\/p>\n The Rowland Road Play Patch<\/strong>, co-ordinated by Yorkshire Contemporary<\/strong><\/a> at Rowland Road WMC in Beeston is now open every Saturday 11am-2pm.<\/p>\n St Mary\u2019s Church, Middleton<\/strong><\/a> are holding their May Fair on Saturday from 11am-2pm in the Parochial Hall on North Lingwell Road, LS10 3SR.<\/p>\n After the hors d\u2019oeuvre of parkrun<\/strong><\/a> at 9am, Let\u2019s Move: South Leeds<\/strong><\/a> has roller skating and skateboarding plus a women\u2019s mindfulness walk at 11am. Then things get going properly at 12pm with a host of sports and activities to try out. It all takes place in Beeston\u2019s Cross Flatts Park.<\/p>\n Hunslet ARLFC<\/strong><\/a> entertain Waterhead Warriors on Saturday afternoon at The Oval, opposite Morrisons. Kick off is at 2:30pm.<\/p>\n Throstle Avenue in Middleton will be closed to traffic for a Play Street<\/strong><\/a> event on Saturday afternoon from 3-7pm.<\/p>\n Third Class: A Titanic Story<\/strong><\/a> is the latest show to arrive at Slung Low, Holbeck\u2019s own theatre. The one man show tells the true story of a survivor\u2019s quest for justice for the ordinary passengers that we never hear about. It\u2019s at the Warehouse in Holbeck, Crosby Street, LS11 9RQ on Saturday at 7:30pm. Book at\u00a0www.slunglow.org\/shows<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n St Luke\u2019s Church<\/strong><\/a>, Malvern Road, Beeston Hill, LS11 8PD are serving up their monthly family breakfast at 9:30am, you can stay for morning worship at 10:30am, but you\u2019re not obliged to.<\/p>\n Leeds Dads<\/strong><\/a> will be holding another free Soft Play session, 10am-12pm on Sunday morning at Little Angels behind the Tommy Wass pub, LS11 7HL. This for dads and pre-school children and there\u2019s free tea and toast! Book: leedsdads.org\/events<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n The South Leeds Community Kitchen<\/strong><\/a> will be cooking up a free meal on Sunday, 4-5:45pm, at St Mary\u2019s Church, Town Street, Beeston (opposite Nisa). Everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n It\u2019s Mental Health Awareness Week<\/strong> and there are drop-in events at our local Community Hubs<\/strong><\/a> where you can have a cuppa, a chat and do some crafty activities. The sessions run at Dewsbury Road Community Hub, LS11 6PF on Monday and Tuesday 11am-2pm; at Hunslet Community Hub, LS10 2NS on Wednesday from 10-11:30am, followed by a mindfulness walk to the canal; and at St George\u2019s Community Hub in Middleton, LS10 4UZ on Thursday 11am-2pm.<\/p>\n On Monday evening Beeston Hill Community Association<\/strong><\/a> will be holding a meeting with a representative from Leeds United to discuss their plans to expand the Elland Road Stadium<\/strong>.12 May BHCA meeting on Elland Road.<\/p>\n A drop-in exhibition<\/strong> and information evening about the Elland Road stadium<\/strong> expansion will take place at The Holbeck<\/strong><\/a> club, Jenkinson Lawn, LS11 9QX, on Tuesday 5-8pm.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, the Leeds Playhouse community tour<\/strong><\/a> reaches LS-TEN Skatepark<\/strong><\/a> on Kitson Road, Hunslet, LS10 1NT. The family-friendly show Sisters 360<\/strong> is on at 5pm.<\/p>\n The support group for women going through the menopause<\/strong><\/a> holds its monthly drop-in session on Tuesday evening, 7-8pm at Hamara Healthy Living Centre, Tempest Road, Beeston, LS11 6RD. Women can receive information, support, some freebies, and the chance to make new friends in a safe and confidential supportive environment. Refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n The SEN-Tastic<\/strong> group meets on Thursday. It\u2019s open to anyone who cares for children with special needs, parents, siblings, carers, childminders and grandparents and offers coffee, friendship, advice and support. The group runs from 9:15-10:30am at St Luke\u2019s Church<\/strong><\/a>, Malvern Road, Beeston, LS11 8PD.<\/p>\n Leeds Baby Bank<\/strong><\/a> will be at Dewsbury Road Community Hub & Library on Thursday 10am-12pm offering support to people to access support services, community activity and longer-term support. They also gift families an essential top-up of items like nappies, wipes, formula and toiletries.<\/p>\n The St Luke\u2019s Tenants & Residents Association<\/strong><\/a> will be holding their bi-monthly meeting on Thursday at St Luke\u2019s Church<\/strong><\/a>, Malvern Road, LS11 8PD, starting at 6:30pm.<\/p>\n And finally, there is a Police Contact Point at Cottingley Community Centre on Friday, 10am-12pm.
