Castlederg in Co Tyrone recorded the highest temperatures on Friday, with the mercury climbing to 20.7C, as sunseekers across NI made the most of the warm spell. <\/p>\n
Patches of fog and mist may develop overnight, with temperatures dipping to 8C, although clear skies are expected to continue into the morning. <\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: \u201cQuite widely we’ve had temperatures into the high teens today with the sunshine, with light winds as well.<\/p>\n
“So, it’s been quite a pleasant day. Tonight will be dry with clear spells, perhaps a few mist and fog patches.\u201d<\/p>\n
Temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 20C on Saturday. <\/p>\n
Those attending the races at the north coast will see temperatures reaching 13C for the 9am start to the competitions final day of racing.<\/p>\n
The Met Office predicts clear skies throughout the day with a small chance of cloud coverage.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy nine o’clock, temperatures will be up to around 13-14C already,\u201d the forecaster said. \u201cSo they’ll bounce up quite quickly at the start of the race.<\/p>\n
\u201cTomorrow is a very similar day in terms of the weather, very similar to what we’ve had today.<\/p>\n
\u201cAny mist and fog (overnight) will also quickly clear, so that should be gone by nine o’clock too.\u201d <\/p>\n
However, the Met Office anticipates a \u201ctrickier\u201d Sunday with chances of heavy showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n
While in the morning we can expect similar sunny spells as seen throughout the week, cloud coverage will increase as the day progresses.<\/p>\n

Despite this, temperatures will remain in the mid to high teens maxing out at 19C.<\/p>\n
The Met Office spokesperson said: \u201cSunday’s going to be a little bit trickier. Sunday morning, again, quite similar sort of temperatures in the low to mid teens perhaps, with lovely bright sunny skies at first.\u201d <\/p>\n
