Two men have been arrested after a 21-year-old man was stabbed in a park in London. Finbar Sullivan is the son of a well-known Welsh musician Christopher Sullivan<\/a>, the founder of 1980s band Blue Rondo a la Turk.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old was a filmmaking student. He was stabbed during an altercation in Primrose Hill in the early evening on Tuesday, April 7. Despite the efforts of paramedics was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Mr Sullivan, originally from Merthyr Tydfil, told the Daily Mail his son wanted to become a cameraman like his grandfather Michael Seresin, who worked on Harry Potter and Rambo III.<\/p>\n

Mr Sullivan, 65, said: “This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s my only son\u2026 I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced. He\u2019d just bought a new camera, we all chipped in for his 21st birthday, and he took it up there to do a bit of filming.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so broken-hearted, I can\u2019t believe it. He was the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy. He was just a really lovely person.<\/p>\n

“And why he was targeted, we have no idea.”<\/p>\n

Metropolitan police officers have now arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He was arrested alongside a 25-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender. The pair remain in police custody at this time<\/p>\n

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is leading the investigation, said: \u201cMy thoughts remain with Finbar\u2019s family who continue to receive support from specialist officers at this unimaginably difficult time.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough we have made two arrests, my officers continue to work around the clock to trace everyone involved. I\u2019d like to thank the public who have come forward with information so far. If you are yet to speak to us, or share footage from Tuesday relating to this incident, please do not hesitate to get in touch. \u201cIn the meantime, residents can expect to see an increased police presence as dedicated local officers continue patrols in Primrose Hill and the surrounding areas.\u201d<\/p>\n
