We have an exciting event coming up in April. Men\u2019s Health Unlocked and Insight (Mental Health Peer Support Group) are coming together to bring you a networking event like no other!<\/p>\n
I have wanted to host and get involved in a networking event of this caliber for so long, I am very excited to be bringing this to you. I approached Maz Sultan from Men\u2019s Health Unlocked and thankfully, he was as excited as myself. It is completely free and open to everyone.<\/p>\n
The theme will be \u2018Boosting Confidence together\u2019, one of the biggest downfalls these days is the lack of confidence when one\u2019s belief in yourself isn\u2019t great. But all is not lost, there is so much that we can do and together, we\u2019ll show you techniques and give you links to group\u2019s to help boost your confidence.<\/p>\n
Maz from Men\u2019s Health Unlocked said:<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was great to be approached by Stewart from Insight to collaborate for this event. He saw an event I led some time ago and wanted to expand and work together to do an even better one.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am a link worker across South Leeds and see the great initiatives in the area. It will be wonderful to showcase these on 17 April.<\/p>\n
\u201cI also feel its important for voluntary run groups which need support and resources like Insight, to get a platform and for more people to see the great things they can offer.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
We will have local acts performing, services from around Leeds showcasing how they can help you and even some light snacks.<\/p>\n
