A desperate search is underway for a missing<\/a> man last seen visiting a popular Scots shopping centre.<\/p>\n

Brad Girvan was last spotted<\/a> at around 8am on Campsie Drive, near Glasgow Airport on Friday, May 9, wearing a white t-shirt, grey jogging trousers and blue Adidas trainers.<\/p>\n

As police carried out enquiries, it was found that the 32-year-old had visited<\/a> Braehead shopping centre mid-morning but no-one has seen or heard from him since.<\/p>\n

Brad<\/a>, from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, is described as white, of thin build, with dark hair and a beard and wears round shaped glasses.<\/p>\n

Officers<\/a> are continuing to check relevant CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information.<\/p>\n

Sergeant David McGuire, Renfrew Police office, insisted that his disappearance<\/a> is unlike Brad, as concerns for his welfare grow. He said: \u201cIt is out of character for Brad to go missing and his family is becoming increasingly concerned for him.<\/p>\n

“They just want him home safe and well. If anyone has seen Brad or has any information as to where<\/a> he might be, please contact us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anyone with information<\/a> is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2059 of May 9, 2025.<\/p>\n

We previously reported, in an unrelated missing persons case, that a Scots student who went missing<\/a> in Madrid was found safe after two days.<\/p>\n

Gregor Thomson, 21, was last seen at around 1.30am on Saturday, April 26, at a bar in the Spanish capital. He was out with rugby pals before he was separated from the group.<\/a><\/p>\n

His disappearance sparked an urgent search and social media appeal to help find the Edinburgh University student.<\/p>\n

His cousin Amy Hood confirmed on April 27 that Gregor has been found<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She said: “He has been found safe<\/a> and well. Thank you all for your concern it is much appreciated.”<\/p>\n

Concerned members of the public shared their relief<\/a> with his family. One commented: “Sending love to all family, I’m so pleased he is back and safe, what a relief for the family.” Another said: “Amazing news. What a relief for you all.” A third added: “Brilliant news.”<\/p>\n
