{"id":889579,"date":"2026-04-12T18:44:17","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T18:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/889579\/"},"modified":"2026-04-12T18:44:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T18:44:17","slug":"dan-walker-to-appear-at-tribunal-as-ex-channel-5-co-host-brings-bullying-claim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/889579\/","title":{"rendered":"Dan Walker to appear at tribunal as ex Channel 5 co-host brings bullying claim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Mail on Sunday, citing a source, reports that Walker denies the allegations and has more than 50 character witness statements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It is understood that a previous internal investigation into claims against Walker was not upheld and no misconduct was found.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The trial will begin in London on 20 April and is listed for five weeks, according to Vanderpuije&#8217;s lawer Jonathan Coad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Walker, who also previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, joined Vanderpuije as a co-host on Channel 5 News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itn.co.uk\/media-centre\/dan-walker-join-5-news\" class=\"ssrcss-1e0jzsh-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 2022, external<\/a>.
