Police are investigating after a man was attacked in Coventry<\/a>. It happened after the Coventry City<\/a> and Sheffield Wednesday game at the CBS Arena<\/a> on Saturday (April 11).<\/p>\n

In a 22-second clip shared on X, a group of young Coventry City<\/a> supporters can be seen punching and kicking a Sheffield Wednesday fan near Sydnall Road. Afterwards, they were heard laughing and shouting: ‘Sky Blue Army.’<\/p>\n

It is not currently known whether the Sheffield Wednesday fan was injured. Detectives are reviewing the clip to identify those involved.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police<\/a>. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for West Midlands Police<\/a> said: \u201cWe are investigating after a man was assaulted following an altercation with a group of people near Sydnall Road in Coventry<\/a> on Saturday (April 11).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are aware of a video circulating social media and understand the concern it has caused and are reviewing it as part of the investigation.<\/p>\n
