Perry<\/a>‘s camp released a fiery statement in response<\/a>, insisting the allegations were ‘categorically false’ while describing them as ‘dangerous reckless lies’ – and now, an alleged bystander has weighed in on the matter.<\/p>\n The former manager of the now-defunct nightclub, where Rose claims the alleged incident occurred, Spice Market, has revealed what he saw unfold after the stars reportedly turned up together in August 2010.<\/p>\n At the time, Perry had just released her megahit ‘California Gurls’, the lead single from fan favourite album Teenage Dream, which came out that month.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Rose was primarily known as a model. She would later find success as an actor in John Wick: Chapter Two and Batwoman.<\/p>\n The former club owner recalled how the evening was a ‘security nightmare’ due to the alleged bedlam their attendance at the venue brought, on top of there being hundreds of revellers to tend to in the club.<\/p>\n “They came in together, they were also with Katy\u2019s hair and make-up girl and another guy who was friends with Ruby,” the ex-employee told the Herald Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n “It was a security nightmare because there were 600 people there and Katy kept coming out and dancing with everybody and going right in the middle of the mosh pit,” he claimed.<\/p>\n In a series of posts shared to the social media site Threads<\/a>, Rose alleged that she had been ‘resting’ on her friend’s lap in a bid to ‘avoid’ Perry inside the club.<\/p>\n She claims that despite this, the ‘Firework’ hitmaker made a beeline for her, ‘bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her’.<\/p>\n The Australian<\/a> actress went on to claim that she has ‘photos’ and ‘witnesses’ to back up her version of events – although a representative for Perry vehemently denied the claims.<\/p>\n “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies,” they said in a statement.<\/p>\n “Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”<\/p>\n According to the former boss at the nightclub in question, the famous faces<\/a> spent the majority of their night in a VIP area, which was cordoned off from other clubgoers, known as the Genie Bottle.<\/p>\n He recalled seeing the pair ‘having drinks and stuff’, while noting that they were ‘mainly in there doing their own thing’.<\/p>\n “I wasn\u2019t aware of any alleged assault, or someone vomiting,” he told the Herald Sun. “They were drunk, they weren\u2019t paralytic or anything and just like any other person drinking at a nightclub.”<\/p>\n The ex-manager then claimed that Rose and Perry – who is currently in a relationship with the former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau<\/a> – both probably had ‘too much to drink’.<\/p>\n “To avoid people taking photos of them in a state, we organised a car and driver to be waiting outside the Collins St entrance of the hotel,” he alleged.<\/p>\n “We escorted them out the back and up the fire exit and put them in the car together. I think from there they went on to The Peel Hotel.”<\/p>\n Rose initially said she is ‘not interested in filing a report’ with the police in regards to her allegations against Perry, however, it appeared as though she later changed her mind<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a post shared on Threads on Monday (13 April), the Pitch Perfect 3 actress said she would be ‘walking into a police station to see if any of my experiences can be investigated’.<\/p>\n And on Tuesday (14 April), she posted what she said would be her ‘last update’ on the situation.<\/p>\n “As of this afternoon, I have finalised all of my reports,” Rose wrote. “This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.<\/p>\n “It\u2019s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people\u2019s experiences, but I\u2019m not. This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief.<\/p>\n “I can start the healing process now. And temporary move forward.
