A historic village known for its listed buildings and colourful cottages has been named among the country’s most beautiful.<\/p>\n
Lavenham has been included in a list of the 24 prettiest places in the UK by the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n
The national newspaper highlighted the market square which is lined with architecture from the Tudor era, listed buildings and a range of independent retailers.<\/p>\n
It added: “Thanks to its timbered cottages, crooked houses, 15th century churches, tearooms and woodlands, Lavenham is one of the prettiest historical villages in England.”<\/p>\n
