{"id":897659,"date":"2026-04-16T09:15:16","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T09:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/897659\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T09:15:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T09:15:16","slug":"palace-on-tour-important-information-for-fans-going-to-florence-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/897659\/","title":{"rendered":"Palace on Tour: Important information for fans going to Florence &#8211; News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Palace leading 3-0 from last week, the second leg will kick-off at <strong>21:00 CET local time (20:00 BST)<\/strong> on Thursday at the <strong>Artemio Franchi Stadium<\/strong> in Florence.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of Thursday, supporters can find important information surrounding the trip below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We would encourage supporters to aim to arrive at Artemio Franchi Stadium as early as possible, to ensure smooth entry into the stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ticketing information<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tickets are being issued to each individual ticket holder via PDF print at home ticket<\/strong>. All emails have been sent direct from Fiorentina from the address <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpfc.co.uk\/news\/information\/palace-on-tour-important-information-for-fans-going-to-florence\/mailto:no_reply@vivaticket.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no_reply@vivaticket.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please remember to check your spam\/junk folders (or promotional email folder if on Gmail) before calling the box office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have you haven\u2019t received your ticket by 09:00 on Thursday, please contact the box office as soon as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each ticket will include \u2013\u00a0<strong>as listed on each supporter\u2019s passport<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the purchaser\u2019s name, date of birth, passport country of issue, and gender. All of these details are required by Italian law in order to obtain a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that supporters can scan tickets on their phones by displaying the QR\/barcode. There is no requirement to print out your tickets.<\/p>\n<p>Where to go on matchday\u2026<\/p>\n<p>On matchday, Palace supporters are expected to meet at <strong>Giardini<\/strong> <strong>Piazza della Indipendenza<\/strong> in central Florence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Local authorities have organised coaches<\/strong> to take supporters from this point to the Artemio Franchi Stadium.\u00a0 The first service will depart between <strong>18:00<\/strong> and <strong>18:30<\/strong> local time, depending on demand.<\/p>\n<p>From then on, there will be regular shuttles from <strong>Piazza della Indipendenza<\/strong> to the ground. Please note that availability for this service is limited, and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If supporters choose to walk<\/strong> to the Artemio Franchi Stadium, please note that this will take around 45 minutes from Piazza della Indipendenza.<\/p>\n<p>Mandatory passport checks<\/p>\n<p><strong>All supporters will be required to take their passports to the stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be strict stadium perimeter ticket checks<\/strong>, where all supporters will be required to show the passport which matches the details on their ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Supporters who do not have their own passports at the ticket checkpoint will be refused entry to the stadium perimeter.<\/p>\n<p>If the supporter\u2019s passport does not match the details on their ticket, they will be refused entry to the stadium perimeter.<\/p>\n<p>Palace staff will be on hand at the check point to help with any potential issues.<\/p>\n<p>Approaching the stadium<\/p>\n<p><strong>Palace supporters must approach through<\/strong> <strong>Viale<\/strong> <strong>Pasquale Paoli<\/strong> on the south-eastern side of the stadium, where there will be a ticketing and passport checkpoint.<\/p>\n<p>Coaches will drop supporters off at the car park for the Mandela Forum (Parcheggio Mandela Forum), just before this checkpoint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fans are advised to avoid the surroundings<\/strong> of the North Stand (Curvia Fiesole) and South Stand (Curva Ferrovia) \u2013 in particular <strong>Viale Manfredo Fanti, Via Frusa, Vale del Mille<\/strong> and <strong>Viale Malta<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>before and after the game.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the match<\/p>\n<p>Following the full-time whistle, <strong>supporters in the away end will be held back<\/strong> for a short period of time (approximately 30 minutes) to allow home crowds to disperse.
