Gemma Collins<\/a> was just moments from quitting I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 South Africa<\/a>, after breaking down in tears.<\/p>\n The Towie legend, 45, has had a few breakdowns in the jungle<\/a>, as she returned to take on more of Ant and Dec\u2019s bushtucker trials after her memorable three-day stint in 2014.<\/p>\n Despite lasting much longer than the first time, Gemma was close to walking out in tonight\u2019s episode, as she declared, \u2018I\u2019m done\u2019.<\/p>\n The GC has joined the likes of Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Harry Redknapp, Ashley Roberts, Beverley Callard, and Sir Mo Farah, with David Haye, Sinitta, Craig Charles, and Jimmy Bullard completing the line-up, and Seann Walsh, who was the first celebrity to be evicted.<\/p>\n Gemma was moments from quitting I’m A Celebrity (Image: ITV)<\/p>\n READ MORE: Alex Jones shares ‘sad news’ on The One Show after BBC colleague’s death<\/a>READ MORE: David Haye hits out at ‘unwell’ I’m A Celebrity co-star in tense row<\/a><\/p>\n Gemma was about to become the second star to leave this series when she burst into tears at the thought of doing another trial.<\/p>\n Thinking they were all about to be put through their paces once again in a trial called \u2018Prison of Hell\u2019 and facing crawlies and critters, including rats and snakes, Gemma called out: \u201cI\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m done,\u201d she said. \u201cI can\u2019t do any more. I can\u2019t go through any more.\u201d<\/p>\n As her co-stars rallied behind her to offer their support, she tearfully went on: \u201cI\u2019ve done so much, I\u2019ve been through so much, I can\u2019t go in a prison. I just can\u2019t do any more, guys.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Gemma didn\u2019t have to follow through with her threat, as Harry revealed he had been pranking the camp.<\/p>\n Gemma has already lasted more than her three-day stint in 2014 (Image: ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/p>\n As they reeled from his joke, she said: \u201cFor me, that\u2019s claustrophobic, I would just have to say them fateful words!\u201d<\/p>\n Viewers were left concerned, with one sharing on X: \u201cI was so worried Gemma was gonna leave for a sec, she can\u2019t leave yet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI hope they don\u2019t use Gemma as a cop out vote off decision, she\u2019s got so much value in there and deserves to get further,\u201d another said, as another laughed: \u201cHARRY, THAT\u2019S NOT FUNNY I THOUGHT WE WERE ABOUT TO LOSE AR GEMMA.\u201d<\/p>\n This comes after Gemma wept over washing up in last night\u2019s programme, while she spoke to Adam as they completed their chore.<\/p>\n The pair had been talking about burnt food and carcinogenic risks, as Gemma began: \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t eat burnt food, honestly, it\u2019s making me feel so ill, even the smell of that.\u201d<\/p>\n Viewers shared their concern after Gemma’s comments (Image: INSTAGRAM\/imacelebrity)<\/p>\n Breaking down into tears, she then said: \u201cIt\u2019s been a difficult day, I don\u2019t know why, and obviously I\u2019ve got close with Adam, I just had to break down and let it all out.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that she did feel good in herself \u201cmentally\u201d, but needed to let it all out.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just I can\u2019t wash properly, I can\u2019t have anything nice, I\u2019ve got to wash up every five f**king minutes\u2026 I\u2019m not used to this, I\u2019m so not used to this, it\u2019s not f**king me.\u201d<\/p>\n When Adam tried to tell her it was all part of \u201ccharacter building,\u201d she replied: \u201cHow\u2019s washing up building my character? I just feel like a downtrodden person right now.\u201d<\/p>\n Things only got worse for Gemma, as she was later forced to endure a nighttime trial with Scarlett, and despite facing critters, crocs, and coal, she came back defeated.<\/p>\n She later sobbed: \u201cI feel like you\u2019re trying to kill me, you\u2019re going to kill me, it\u2019s not even funny.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like you\u2019re definitely trying to kill me.\u201d<\/p>\n I\u2019m A Celebrity airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Towie legend was on the verge of walking out of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa camp.
