A man died after being found on a Liverpool city centre street in the early hours of Saturday morning. At around 4.35am today (May 10), North West Ambulance Service<\/a> (NWAS) reported that a man in his 20s was found on Old Hall Street in Liverpool city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. Merseyside Police<\/a> remain at the scene this morning and a cordon is in place near to the entrance of the passport office.<\/p>\n His death is unexplained but is not initially believed to be suspicious. The ECHO<\/a> understands the passport office is open as normal, with people able to access the entrance away from the cordon.<\/p>\n A Merseyside Police<\/a> spokesperson told the ECHO<\/a>: “We can confirm that officers are in Liverpool city centre<\/a> following the unexplained death of a man in the early hours of this morning, Saturday, May 10.<\/p>\n “At around 4.35am, NWAS reported a man in his 20s being found in the street on Old Hall Street.
