Like its original three-season run between 2014 and 2017, the reboot will give viewers a sneak peek into the world of British socialites and American expats. This time, the cast will reportedly include one Bravo star who is currently “on pause.”

Bravo Confirms ‘Ladies of London’ Reboot

The new “Ladies of London” reboot comes from BBC Studios America, with Krystal Witney, Ryan O’Dowd, Barrie Bernstein, and Craig Turner as executive producers.

According to the new series description, the show is coming back “with a new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats, and glamorous international socialites.”

“As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalized world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world. Here, connections are currency, and the crown isn’t the only thing up for grabs,” the announcement reads.

The original cast featured Caroline Stanbury (who would later go on to star in “Real Housewives of Dubai”), Marissa Hermer, and Juliet Angus. Cameras followed them as they lived the high life in London in the mid-2010s.

Will the Cast Feature a Bravo Star Who Is Currently on ‘Pause’?

Bravo has yet to reveal who will be in the “Ladies of London” reboot cast. But, according to gossip site “Bravo and Cocktails,” we will see one former star of “Real Housewives of New York,” — Dorinda Medley. Fans will recall that Medley was “put on pause” by Bravo in 2020 after being part of the “RHONY” cast from seasons 7 through 12.

This bit of casting gossip has not been confirmed. But Medley would definitely fit into the show’s contrast of British and American socialites. If Medley does join the cast, her return to London will come a decade after her “healing” trip to the city that still “holds a very special place” in her heart.

Medley lived in London for almost 10 years with her late husband, Richard. Her 2015 trip was her first to the city since Robert’s death in 2011.

“I really did think London was going to be my home, long-term. Hannah was born there, and I developed some of my most treasured friendships while living there. After I became Mrs. Medley, things changed, but we still went back often and Richard became part of my London life, where we shared numerous memories,” Medley wrote at the time.

Being Put on Pause Was a Good Thing, Says the Potential ‘Ladies of London’ Reboot Star

In January, Medley addressed her “on pause” status during an Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast appearance. She admitted that getting the news was “hugely surprising” and it left her “heartbroken.” But looking back now, she realizes it was “the best thing that ever happened” to her.” At first, though, she admits she “cried her eyes out” before carving a new path forward.

“I was kind of like, ‘You know what? I’m good. I built the cake; I gave you the frosting; I’ll go back and mix up some confectionary sugar and water and put a new frosting on this cake,” she said.

“I got to go back and spend COVID at Bluestone Manor next to my parents and have Hannah be home. I just kind of worked on my book and dug in, so we were all in a bit of silence at that point in the world. So, if you were going to take a pause, it was the most beautiful time so I could lean into being at home, being a mom, being with my parents, writing a book, working on my branding, thinking out of the box again, and just leaning into that.”

“Real Housewives of New York” and the original “Ladies of London” are now streaming on Peacock.

Tell us!
