Former Manchester United<\/a> striker Mason Greenwood is reportedly attracting interest from the Premier League<\/a> ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

Greenwood <\/a>left United last summer to join Marseille for \u00a326.6millon and has enjoyed a stellar first season in France. The 23-year-old has scored 19 goals in 34 appearances, with only Ousmane Dembele bettering his goal tally.<\/p>\n

After appearing to be undroppable by Roberto De Zerbi’s men earlier in the season, Greenwood has been involved in a number of incidents that have sparked doubts over whether he will stay with Les Phoceens for next season.<\/p>\n

Criticism of his work rate from supporters and then attitude by De Zerbi have seen reports link him with a move away. Saudi Pro League clubs have been keen, while Barcelona have been credited with interest previously.<\/p>\n

A move to Italy or Spain are understood to be likely for Greenwood, but according to The Telegraph<\/a>, those close to the striker have speculated that there is growing interest from Premier League<\/a> clubs.<\/p>\n

The report adds that the former United academy graduate is ‘pining’ for a return to the north of England, with reports in France claiming at least two Premier League clubs are considering a move.<\/p>\n
