It&#8217;s named after its three distinctive limestone sea stacks, it&#8217;s well known for its dramatic natural beauty, expansive sand dunes, salt marshes, and the Pennard Pill stream that wanders over the sands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The wonderfully set holiday park is home to a collection of yurts and bell tents and electric grass and hard-standing pitches. you can take your own tents, trailers or campervans to Three Cliffs &#8211; so there&#8217;s plenty to suit whatever your camping style is.<a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/whats-on\/travel\/four-welsh-campsites-officially-best-32858233\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\"> Back in November 2025 it took the title of Best Coastal Campsite in the UK for 2025 at the 2025 National Camping and Glamping Awards<\/a>, run by campsites.co.uk, which were created to highlight some of the best camping, glamping and touring sites the UK has to offer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Three people in a camp site with one of them inside a tent \" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/0_rbp_mai210722gower4260JPG.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p aria-label=\"A home from home - with a great view!\" class=\"ImageCaption_caption-title__ccyQU\" data-testid=\"caption-title\">A home from home &#8211; with a great view!(Image: WalesOnline\/Rob Browne)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">If you want a more comfy slumber by the coast, the luxurious yurts sleep up to five people and are naturally dog-friendly, making them an excellent choice for families with furry friends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The campsite has a newly refurbished amenity block with over 20 ensuite-style bathrooms, underfloor heating, touch-sensor showers, and large heated mirrors. They contain a double bed and two singles, plus a pull-out sofa bed if needed. These posh and cosy tents also have a fridge, tea\/coffee stations and cooking pots and utensils. Outside you can cook dinner on a gas BBQ and hob and gather around the fire pit after with a well-deserved beer!<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The great thing about this option is that everything is there for you &#8211; no sleeping bags needed &#8211; just bring yourself and beach gear. Even breakfast is covered at Three Cliffs if needed, with baked pastries and coffees for the morning and you can even get a BBQ hamper for tea. If you don&#8217;t fancy cooking there&#8217;s also an on-site cafe for you to order at then take back to your pitch.<\/p>\n<p>Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Currently, you can nab a pitch from around \u00a320 per person, per night &#8211; and that&#8217;s for the cheapest option of a grass pitch with hook-up. You can pay a little extra for privacy hedging or if you want a sea view. There are several options for walks around the area, with one of the more challenging ones being the Southgate to Three Cliffs Bay walk as featured by the National Trust. They explain that this walk starts in Southgate car park and follows a coastal footpath with a downhill section to the Three Cliffs Bay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">You&#8217;ll also trek through a wooded valley, including muddy woodland floors and an uneven stony path. The walk starts with a steep descent into the valley and ends by climbing back up the same hill.
