Locals took mother nature&#8217;s memo and descended upon Edinburgh green spaces to soak up the rays.<\/p>\n<p>Photos from the Meadows on Saturday show hundreds of residents enjoying the weather.<\/p>\n<p>Countless groups can be seen gathering around picnic blankets, barbecuing, and playing music. Sunday, May 11 will round out the weekend with sustained sunshine and another high of 20C. Sunbathers can enjoy warm weather as early as 10am with 17C temperatures, which will rise steadily as the day wears on.<\/p>\n<p>Edinburgh Live reporter earlier on Saturday how <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.news.yahoo.com\/edinburgh-fire-responds-blaze-meadows-165035873.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:fire services;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fire services<\/a> were on the scene in the Meadows extinguishing a bin fire.<\/p>\n<p>A witness told Edinburgh Live: &#8220;It definitely smelled of smoke.
