The King also spoke about the huge amount of change his mother had witnessed over the seven decades of her reign, remarking, \u201cHer near-century was one\u00a0of remarkable change and yet, through each passing decade, through every transformation, she remained constant, steadfast and wholly devoted to the people she served.\u201d<\/p>\n

Senior family members spent Tuesday attending engagements to celebrate the Queen\u2019s life. Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a> joined King Charles and Queen Camilla<\/a>, Princess Anne<\/a> and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace, where Princess Kate was photographed embracing an 88-year-old war hero.
