Emergency services were called to the A5 at Capel Curig, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/conwy\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Conwy<\/a>, at around 5.31pm today following a collision between a red Honda motorcycle and a white Volkswagen Caddy van.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The male motorcyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The female pillion passenger was flown to hospital in Stoke with serious, potentially life-changing injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The driver of the van sustained what was believed to be minor injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The motorcyclist&#8217;s next of kin have been informed.
