Simon Cowell was left speechless as a former Britain’s Got Talent contestant made a surprise return to the ITV talent show during Saturday’s semi-final.<\/p>\n

In addition to the evening’s performances, the show also featured 2024 BGT winner Sydnie Christmas performing live, as well as the cast of West End musical Just For One Day.<\/p>\n

Following their impressive performance, Ant and Dec took to the stage to interview one of the singers, Fayth Ifil.<\/p>\n

Dec revealed: “And Fayth here was on the show back in 2020, Simon’s Golden Buzzer! Welcome home! How is it being back at BGT?”<\/p>\n

Fayth beamed as Simon responded with a thumbs up and a huge smile from the judges’ desk, reports Belfast Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It feels incredible. Absolutely insane. It’s so good to see you again, Simon. I’m so glad to be with an amazing show with an amazing cast,” Fayth said.<\/p>\n

Dec then asked: “You’re hitting the West End soon! Tell us a bit about that.”<\/p>\n

Fayth went on to share more details about Just For One Day, which is playing at the Old Vic Theatre in London.<\/p>\n

She explained: “The show is based on Live Aid, which happened 40 years ago and the best thing about the show is it’s raising money for the Band Aid Trust. We’ve already hit \u00a3750,000, and by the end of the year, we’re hoping to raise \u00a32million.”<\/p>\n

Dec wished Fayth and the rest of the cast good luck with their shows, before adding: “We can’t wait to come and see the show.”<\/p>\n

Fayth, who wowed audiences on Britain’s Got Talent in 2020 with her stunning performance of Tina Turner’s Proud Mary, earning Simon’s Golden Buzzer at just 12, has been making waves in the theatre world.<\/p>\n

She recently took to Instagram<\/a> to share her excitement about her latest venture, writing: “I’ve been silent for sooooo long and can finally reveal I will be playing lead in my very first adult debut role – the name of the musical Just For One Day! ! !<\/p>\n

“Loving every minute and really hope you all get to come and watch. So grateful to be a part of such an amazing cast and musical production…My extended family.”<\/p>\n
