The plans include retaining and refurbishing parts of the existing site, including the Refectory pub and the historic Valve House, alongside the construction of a new hotel building and a connecting structure between the old and new sections.<\/p>\n<p>According to the application, the development would deliver a total of 130 rooms, with 114 rooms in a newly built hotel and additional rooms provided within the refurbished existing building. Image: Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>Planning documents state: \u201cThe aim of this development is to enrich this part of Golders Green town centre and provide good quality hotel accommodation in an area currently poorly supplied.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The site currently includes a mix of uses, including a small hotel, public house, car wash and parking area. The proposal would see these replaced with a larger, more modern development, alongside new public space and outdoor seating areas.<\/p>\n<p>Transport documents highlight the site\u2019s location close to <a href=\"https:\/\/harrowonline.org\/tag\/Golders-Green\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Golders Green<\/a> Underground station, around 70 metres away, with the area described as having excellent public transport links.
