Irn-Bru advert auditions as set to take place in Glasgow<\/a> this weekend – with an iconic viral singer leading the search for the next TV star.<\/p>\n Scots hoping to feature in the drinks company’s<\/a> summer advert have been invited to come down to the Waterloo Bar in the city centre on Saturday afternoon. Viral singing sensation May Miller – who capturing the nation\u2019s attention as she eat crisps while belting out an 80s hit in 2024 – will be on judging panel.<\/p>\n The 71-year-old was performing ‘The Whole of the Moon’ with her husband Robert while munching on a packet of Wotsits when she shot to fame. A clip of the pair was watched millions of times around the world after being shared on TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n And the iconic duo will now take their seats as talent judges, giving fans the opportunity to sing their way into the cast. Since then we\u2019ve been asked five more times. There\u2019s no chance of that, we\u2019d be singing and Ant and Dec would be standing there eating Wotsits.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s not for us, we much prefer playing in the Glasgow pub scene. That\u2019s been our life for 40 years.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking at the time, May said that eating a snack isn’t out of the ordinary for her at the venue.<\/p>\n She said: “I got fed up eating fish suppers, so I thought, I’d go to the Wotsits. The phone had been ringing off the hook and I thought someone had died.<\/p>\n “My son phoned me and told me he had friends in Spain and Canada who’d seen the video, he said, ‘you’re famous!’ I’ve been doing it all these years, and you go viral for eating a packet of crisps.”<\/p>\n The audition takes place on Saturday, April 25 in the Waterloo Bar between 11am and 1pm.
