Final Destination<\/a> fans need to hurry if they want to view the entire series around the release of the newest instalment, with Prime Video<\/a> set to remove the films from its catalogue in the coming weeks. <\/p>\n

The horror franchise<\/a> is due to return on Friday (16 May) with its sixth instalment<\/a>, Final Destination Bloodlines<\/a>, bringing an end to the 14-year hiatus that had followed since Final Destination 5. <\/p>\n

With the upcoming film<\/a> soon to be released, fans \u2013 or first-time viewers \u2013 can catch up on the previous instalments via Prime Video. <\/p>\n

However, you will have to be speedy as the first five entries are all due to be removed from the streaming service on 25 May<\/strong> (via JustWatch<\/a>). <\/p>\n

While the first five instalments are on streaming, Final Destination Bloodlines<\/a> will soon hit the big screen as various characters are plunged into a nightmare, with the story following a college student who attempts to prevent her family’s demise following recurring visions. <\/p>\n

The movie also sees late horror icon Tony Todd returning as William Bludworth<\/a>, in his final screen role.<\/p>\n

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein from a script by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, the horror film features a record-breaking scene<\/a> in which 71-year-old Yvette Ferguson became the oldest stunt performer to be lit on fire on camera.<\/p>\n

“We lit so many different people on fire, including breaking the world record for oldest person on fire with Yvette Ferguson, who did that full body burn in the silver dress,” said Lipovsky of the scene. “That was the oldest person ever on fire, on camera.”<\/p>\n

Ferguson, who came out of retirement for the part, referred to the scene as “one of my favourite stunts in [her] career”, adding that she would “love to do [it] again” as she pondered “who gets to have fun like this at my age?”<\/p>\n

Co-star Brec Bassinger, who plays a young Iris Campbell in the film, said of the stunt: “I was within [Ferguson’s] vicinity. God, it was beautiful. Everyone started clapping\u2026 She was so pumped.”<\/p>\n

Final Destinations 1-5 are streaming on Prime Video until 25 May, while Final Destination Bloodlines is released in cinemas on 16 May.<\/strong>
