{"id":91624,"date":"2025-05-11T02:44:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-11T02:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/91624\/"},"modified":"2025-05-11T02:44:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T02:44:10","slug":"costco-to-open-3-new-warehouses-heres-where","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/91624\/","title":{"rendered":"Costco to open 3 new warehouses: Here&#8217;s where"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;right:0;bottom:0;width:100%;height:100%;z-index:2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/83499891007-20241127-t-202138-z-78753116-rc-2-wdbacy-6-tg-rtrmadp-3-retailholidayshoppingblackfriday.jpeg\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"vidplayicon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/icon-play-alt-white.svg.svg+xml\" alt=\"play\" style=\"height:40px;margin:auto 18px auto 27px;width:40px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The companies standing up to Trump on DEI<\/p>\n<p>Companies like Costco and Levi&#8217;s are rejecting the White House&#8217;s position on diversity, equity and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2025\/05\/02\/consumers-shop-warehouse-stores-tariff-trump\/83254889007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Costco<\/a> is set to open at least three more locations this year, with two of them overseas.<\/p>\n<p>The wholesale warehouse giant has cultivated a fervent following of 140 million\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2025\/03\/06\/costco-new-stores-california-texas-maine\/79316468007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">card-carrying members<\/a>\u00a0around the globe by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2025\/04\/16\/costco-impulse-buys-shopping\/83034737007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">all-but-perfecting the art of impulse buying.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Costco&#8217;s strategy is to attempt to open 25-30 new locations each year, typically with half of them in the U.S. and the other half in international markets, chief financial officer Gary Millerchip <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2025\/03\/06\/costco-new-stores-california-texas-maine\/79316468007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Issaquah, Washington-based company operates 905 warehouses around the world and 624 in the United States and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s where Costco is set to open warehouses next.<\/p>\n<p>Where is Costco set to open stores?<\/p>\n<p>Costco <a href=\"https:\/\/www.costco.com\/new-locations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lists three locations<\/a> with future opening dates on its &#8220;Coming Soon&#8221; page.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s website says warehouses will open in:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pyeongtaek, South Korea in June 2025<\/li>\n<li>Malmo, Sweeden in July 2025<\/li>\n<li>Midland, Texas in July of 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The company declined to provide details on the locations when USA TODAY reached out for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Where has Costco opened stores recently?<\/p>\n<p>Costco opened a spate of stores in March.
