Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool career is coming to an end, but it might not be the last we see of him playing in Britain. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the kick off of Liverpool’s<\/a> Premier League<\/a> clash with Crystal Palace at Anfield, Salah<\/a> has just four matches left in his career with the Reds.<\/p>\n

Salah has unquestionably been one of the best players in Liverpool’s storied history and will leave as the third-highest goalscorer, behind only Ian Rush (346) and Roger Hunt (285).<\/p>\n

But all good things must come to an end, with the 33-year-old confirming his decision to leave at the end of the ongoing season in March.<\/p>\n

Of course, that has left fans wondering what’s next for the Egyptian, with a number of clubs from across Europe and abroad linked with a move for Salah in the summer.<\/p>\n

However, in a major surprise, Rangers<\/a> consultant Stig Inge Bjornebye has revealed that the Scottish side have discussed making a spectacular move for the Liverpool legend.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Egyptian channel Modern MTI\u2019s Modern Sports, via Rangers Review, Bjornebye said: I don\u2019t know what Mo\u2019s plans are \u2013 we discussed it at work today as well, as I\u2019m an advisor to Rangers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe discussed where he\u2019ll go and so on. But I think most people are grateful for what he\u2019s done for Liverpool.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a true legend at Liverpool and has achieved a remarkable legacy for a great club. He has delivered exceptional results for them over many seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bjornebye added that Rangers, who fell foul of Salah scoring the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history back in 2022, also discussed interest in Salah last summer ahead of the Egyptian penning a new deal at Anfield.<\/p>\n

He added:\u201cThere were some heated discussions about his situation last year, but the matter has been resolved, and he has remained loyal to Liverpool.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think most people can accept that he has given the club many great years and now wants to seize a new opportunity, perhaps embarking on another adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

What clubs have been linked with Mo Salah? <\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, Rangers is just one of many clubs believed to be interested in making a move for Salah when his time with Liverpool comes to an end next month.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most likely destination appears to be one of the clubs in the Saudi Pro League following their previous attempts at signing him in the past.<\/p>\n

In September 2023, Liverpool rejected a \u00a3150million bid for Mohamed Salah from Al Ittihad, who could now come back in for their top target when he is available as a free agent. <\/p>\n
