Emergency services were called to Dixon Avenue in the Crosshill area of the city at around 12.15pm on Thursday, April 23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Two teenage boys were injured during the incident and were taken to the Royal <a aria-label=\"HospitalLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/hospitals\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">Hospital<\/a> for Children where they remain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Earlier today, police said that an item, believed to be a <a aria-label=\"fireworkLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/fireworks\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">firework<\/a>, had been removed by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams and was being assessed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
