Lauren Sanchez<\/a> and Jeff Bezos<\/a> are expected to walk down the aisle next month and the unusual venue for the ceremony is raising some eyebrows.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have reportedly booked Elton John and Lady Gaga to perform<\/a>, could say their ‘I dos’ on a Venetian island in an open-air theater.<\/p>\n

‘The word is that they have booked the theater which has been restored,’ a source told The US Sun<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘It’s not your usual venue for a wedding, it would be iconic,’ the alleged insider asserted adding, ‘Everyone is talking about the wedding and it’s going to be a huge celebration.’<\/p>\n

The outlet said it chose not to identify the venue, but had checked and could confirm dates had been blocked out for two weeks around the time the wedding was set to take place, which is supposed to be between June 24 and 26.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The billionaire, his bride and some 200 guests have reportedly already booked rooms at the best hotels.<\/p>\n

Bezos’ mega yacht is also expected to be a part of the festivities, although neither the future bride or groom would confirm.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the mayor’s office told CNN<\/a> that he believed the ceremony may take place on Bezos’s yacht, which will be anchored in the lagoon.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0127m-long vessel was where the couple celebrated their engagement off the coast of Positano in 2023.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the theater is not far from open water, making it easily accessible for those attending.<\/p>\n

Guests are expected to include: several members of the Kardashian\/Jenner family, Orlando Bloom and fianc\u00e9e Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and along with model Karlee Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump has also reportedly been invited to the nuptials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Officials from the city of Venice have said they lobbied Bezos and Sanchez to hold the wedding there.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Morris Ceron, the director general of the Venice council told the London Times<\/a> he personally approached the Amazon founder about choosing the ancient city for the wedding.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event should be good news for the city’s coffers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Top hotels, including The Aman Venice, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, the St. Regis Venice, and the Gritti Palace are all nearly fully booked for the end of June, according to The US Sun.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bezos and Sanchez have reportedly booked a suite that goes for $11,500 a night at The Aman Venice.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
