GLASGOW’S Queen\u2019s Park Arena is gearing up to be the ultimate summer hotspot, with a jam-packed month of free and wallet-friendly events set to dazzle the city\u2019s southside.<\/p>\n

From July 3 to August 3, the open-air amphitheatre will be buzzing with over 90 sensational events<\/a>, ranging from cult cinema<\/a> classics to live<\/a> music, creative workshops, and even a 5k race<\/a>. And the best part?<\/p>\n

Think family<\/a> favourites like\u00a0Frozen<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Matilda, alongside grown-up gems like\u00a0Dirty Dancing<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0The Silence of the Lambs. <\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re into ’80s nostalgia<\/a> or indie flicks, there\u2019s something for everyone.<\/p>\n

KIDS, GET READY TO PARTY!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents<\/a>, breathe easy \u2013\u00a0Big Fun\u00a0is here to save your summer<\/a>. <\/p>\n

With 15 early years sessions, kids\u2019 discos, and creative activities like dance<\/a>, music, and storytelling, little ones will be entertained for hours.<\/p>\n

GET CREATIVE WITH OPEN STAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feeling artsy?\u00a0Open Stage\u00a0is hosting 15 free workshops for all ages, plus two major highlights \u2013 the Glasgow<\/a> Choir Festival<\/a> and the Scottish Annual Hip Hop Jam. Expect music, movement, and plenty of local talent.<\/p>\n

FITNESS AND FAMILY FUN<\/strong><\/p>\n

For those who fancy getting active, the\u00a0Glasgow Games\u00a0are bringing 15 free fitness<\/a> classes, ranging from Muay Thai to yoga<\/a>. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a brand-new 5k race, plus live sports screenings to keep the adrenaline pumping.<\/p>\n

LIVE MUSIC AND LAUGHS GALORE<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not all free, though \u2013 the arena\u2019s new\u00a0QPA Live\u00a0series is bringing big-name acts to the stage.<\/p>\n

Highlights include\u00a0The Smyths,\u00a0Arab Strap, and\u00a0Warmduscher, plus the return of the Sub Club Southside Weekender with House music<\/a> legends like\u00a0Moodymann\u00a0and\u00a0Derek Carter. <\/p>\n

Comedy<\/a> fans, don\u2019t miss the\u00a0Laugh in the Park<\/a>\u00a0finale!<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s expanded programme is expected to draw over 45,000 visitors, cementing the arena\u2019s place as a cultural hub. <\/p>\n
