Credit: Alamy <\/p>\n<p>He says that, with independence, the SNP would have the full range of powers to further reduce energy bills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cPeople are really struggling with the cost of living \u2013 energy bills, fuel prices and the cost of food are skyrocketing and people are hurting.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u201cAs First Minister, I want to\u00a0take action to support\u00a0people \u2013 reducing the cost of your daily commute, capping the cost of essential foods in\u00a0supermarkets\u00a0and bringing down electricity bills with the fresh start of independence. \u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u201cThe SNP wants to lower your bills \u2013 and the other parties are trying to stop us.
