THE best pub for Scots music lovers has been revealed \u2013 and it\u2019s not where you might think.<\/p>\n

Scotland<\/a>‘s finest restaurants<\/a>, pubs<\/a>, and live music venues were celebrated this week at The Entertainment and Hospitality Awards<\/a> 2025.<\/p>\n

Cheers Bar in Coatbridge scooped the top award in “Live Music Venue” categoryCredit: Facebook\"Group<\/a><\/p>\n

The bar team picked up the award last week after the special do in GlasgowCredit: Facebook\"Patrons<\/a><\/p>\n

The venue boasts live entertainment every weekendCredit: Facebook<\/p>\n

The glamorous event, held at Glasgow\u2019s DoubleTree by Hilton, surprised the audience with an exclusive live performance from Europop legends The Vengaboys. <\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s Got Talent’s viral<\/a> finalist Vinnie McKee also took to the stage for a special performance.<\/p>\n

The prestigious accolades were determined through a combination of public nominations, voting, and judges’ visits.<\/p>\n

And Cheers Bar, located in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire<\/a>, claimed the coveted title of Best Music Venue.<\/p>\n

The Golf<\/a> Inn @ Ladybank in Cupar, Groucho’s Music Bar in Dundee<\/a>, and Malones in Aberdeen<\/a> were all \u201cHighly Recommended\u201d in the same category.<\/p>\n

Cheers Bar, situated on Coatbridge’s Main Street, operates seven days a week and hosts live entertainment every weekend.<\/p>\n

The bar\u2019s loyal patrons flocked to social media<\/a> to congratulate the staff on their \u201cwell-deserved\u201d win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One wrote: \u201cIt\u2019s definitely the best place to get up and hit a boogie 2 step.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another commented: \u201cBrill, well deserved \u2013 great wee place to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third said: \u201cFantastic \u2013 well done, troops!\u201d<\/p>\n

Moment rampaging yobs trash Scots pub and drink from beer taps in late-night carnage<\/p>\n

A fourth added: \u201cAbsolutely amazing \u2013 well done, everyone xx!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Glasgow\u2019s BaaD, RED Sky<\/a> Bar, and Berlinkys were among the big winners at The Entertainment and Hospitality Awards. Other notable wins included red-hot takeout kings Spudbuds in Ayr, Codona\u2019s and The Craftsman Company in Aberdeen, The Golf Inn Ladybank, and The Bawbee in Stirling.<\/p>\n

The night\u2019s most prestigious honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented to entertainment and hospitality icon Donald MacLeod.<\/p>\n

Warren said: \u201cWe have winners, highly recommended venues, and entrants from every corner of the country \u2013 but it does appear Glasgow\u2019s hospitality sector has really delivered in the eyes of customers and voters this time around.<\/p>\n
