When we did, we stated that you’re limited to the default size or one larger preset, with no finer intermediate scaling options.

That is true if your goal is to enlarge the UI, but it doesn’t paint the full picture. The latest Tizen update does offer more precise scaling options, but only if you want to make things smaller.

Why would you want that? Maybe you have a very large Samsung TV, or you’re sitting fairly close to it. Some users also simply prefer smaller UI elements across all their devices. You probably won’t know for sure until you try.

As a bonus, Samsung TVs running the 2025 Tizen update and later also include UI transparency options. Here’s everything you need to know to access and customize these settings.

Change the One UI Tizen menu size and transparency

First, make sure the Zoom Menu and Text accessibility feature is turned off if it was enabled previously. Disabling it allows you to shrink the UI below the default size.

Next, follow these steps using your TV remote:

Press Settings on the remote > All settings > General & Privacy > Menu Style > use left/right on the remote to adjust the UI Size slider.

You can also adjust the menu’s opacity from the same menu by pressing down on the remote and using left/right on the Transparency slider.

Note: You can’t change UI size while Zoom Menu and Text is enabled, but you can still adjust transparency either way.

If you haven’t received the latest One UI Tizen OS update on your Samsung 2023/2024 TV yet, you can check for new firmware versions manually by going to Settings > All settings > Support > Software update > Update now.

Browse the latest Samsung TV offers

Buy Now

[3159
259988,547,259989,166603,25701,259990,145707,53,209872,16,15
post-928780","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-micro-rgb","tag-mobile","tag-neo-qled","tag-oled","tag-one-ui","tag-qled","tag-smart-tv","tag-technology","tag-tizen","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom
["GET
