He said: “Wildfires have the potential to burn for days and they spread through vast areas of land in our countryside, which is devastating for those who live nearby.<\/p>\n “Our firefighters<\/a> will continue to work with local landowners and other partners to bring these fires under control.<\/p>\n “As the warm and dry weather continues, so too does the risk of wildfire, and so we are asking the public to exercise<\/a> extreme caution and think twice before using anything involving a naked flame.<\/p>\n “Responsible human behaviour can significantly lower the chance of a wildfire starting, so it is crucial that people act safely in rural environments and always follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.”<\/p>\n The warning came amid two more blazes which broke out today.<\/p>\n A wildfire broke out on the Isle of Arran earlier this afternoon.<\/p>\n Scotland hit by another wildfire as country ravaged by blaze amid Galloway police warning<\/p>\n The blaze is burning on a popular walking route in the Glen Rosa area of the island.<\/p>\n Pictures of the inferno show a huge plume of smoke billowing from the hillside.<\/p>\n A fire crew is currently on the scene trying to tackle the fires while people have been urged to avoid the area.<\/p>\n Police<\/a> Scotland<\/a>‘s Ayrshire<\/a> Division issued a warning on their social media<\/a> pages urging people to stay away from the area.<\/p>\n The force said: “Around 1pm on Thursday, 10 April, we were made aware of a wildfire on Arran, north west of Brodick.<\/p>\n “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service<\/a> is in attendance.<\/p>\n “The public is advised to stay away from footpaths into Glen Rosa and also the paths leading to Goatfell.”<\/p>\n Read more on the Scottish Sun<\/p>\n![\"Smoke](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/NINTCHDBPICT000986225097.jpg\")
