Police have made an arrest after Peter Kay’s gig in Birmingham was evacuated only 45 minutes into the comedian’s set when a “potentially suspicious bag” was found.<\/p>\n
West Midlands Police<\/a> said: “We are assisting with an evacuation at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham after a potential suspicious bag was found.<\/p>\n “A 19-year-old man is in custody and as a precaution the site is currently subject of a search. We will provide further updates when we can.” Officers are yet to confirm what the grounds were for the man’s arrest.<\/p>\n Pictures show large number of police officers and vehicles around the venue as of 10.30pm. Peter Bundled off stage and the venue evacuated. Police on site.
