A baa-rilliant Shaun the Sheep trail has launched at Kent’s biggest shopping centre alongside a line-up of family activities.<\/p>\n

The much-loved animal and his famously mischievous flock will be popping up around Bluewater in Greenhithe<\/a> as part of a free augmented reality (AR) adventure.<\/p>\n

\"ShaunShaun the Sheep and his farmyard friends have taken over Bluewater Shopping Centre with\u00a0a new adventure trail<\/p>\n

Shoppers can hunt down nine markers throughout the centre, each unlocking an interactive AR scene.<\/p>\n

Along the way, you can complete fun challenges with Bitzer the dog and take pictures with animated characters as well as artist-designed Shaun the Sheep sculptures.<\/p>\n

Those who complete the trail will be rewarded with a sticker.<\/p>\n

James Waugh, centre director at Bluewater, said: \u201cThe Shaun the Sheep trail will be a fun, quirky adventure, and we\u2019re excited to partner with Aardman to bring it to Kent.<\/p>\n

\"InIn 2024, more than 50 sculptures of the much-loved character were placed around Maidstone<\/p>\n

\u201cAs well as the trail, guests will also be able to enjoy interactive art workshops, character meets and stunning art sculptures of Shaun the Sheep.\u201d<\/p>\n

The shopping centre is set to host a range of family-friendly activities during May half term, with appearances from Shaun the Sheep on Wednesday, May 27 and official Aardman clay-modelling workshops taking place on Thursday, 28 and Friday, May 29.<\/p>\n

The activities can be booked later this month, with Bluewater\u2019s PLUS+ members to be the first to access tickets.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s not the first time Shaun and his farmyard friends have come to Kent.<\/p>\n

\"AA range of family-friendly activites is taking place at the shopping centre over May half term<\/p>\n

In 2024, Maidstone held a special charity art trail, with dozens of sculptures dotted around the town<\/a>, all colourfully decorated by local and national artists.<\/p>\n

To participate in the augmented reality activity, guests will need to download the \u2018Fun with the Flock\u2019 app and enter the location code 1603.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can complete the trail manually by picking up a map and a free Shaun the Sheep headband from the Bluewater Guest Services team on the lower level next to M&S.<\/p>\n
