Four teenagers have been detained following a stabbing incident outside a McDonald’s restaurant in Leeds city centre.<\/p>\n

Police and ambulance crews responded to Briggate after receiving reports of a disturbance at 9.08pm on 28 April, discovering a 34 year old man had sustained a stab wound to his abdomen. The injured man was transported to hospital for treatment, with his injuries not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Photographs taken in the aftermath show police cordons established outside the McDonald’s and along the pedestrianised area, while detectives operated at the scene, gathering CCTV footage, according to The Mirror.<\/a><\/p>\n

West Yorkshire Police apprehended four teenage males, ranging in age from 13 to 16 years old, at the fast food chain, situated at the junction of Briggate and Boar Lane. The youths have since been released on bail while police pursue their investigation.<\/p>\n

Authorities have not disclosed additional information regarding the circumstances leading to the incident or the sequence of events.<\/p>\n

A force spokesperson confirmed to The Mirror that the suspects remain on bail, stating: “At 9.08pm on 28 April officers were called to Briggate in Leeds to reports of an altercation. A 34 year old man was taken to hospital with a stab injury to his stomach. He is being treated for non life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

“Four teenage boys aged between 13 and 16 were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault. They are all currently in custody. Enquiries are ongoing by Leeds CID.”<\/p>\n
