An easyJet service bound for Scotland was forced to make an unscheduled landing after a passenger was “attacked” mid-flight.<\/p>\n
The plane, travelling from Tenerife, was scheduled to touch down in Glasgow on Wednesday, 29 April, but was rerouted to Porto in Portugal<\/a>, where police officers were waiting on the tarmac.<\/p>\n Flight EZY3114 had to alter its course following disruptive behaviour from passengers on board. It’s believed one traveller was assaulted during the incident. The plane subsequently resumed its journey to Glasgow, reports the Daily Record<\/a>.<\/p>\n One passenger was reportedly attacked on the flight<\/p>\n An easyJet spokesperson commented: “Flight EZY3114 from Tenerife South to Glasgow on 29 April diverted to Porto, where police met the aircraft due to passengers behaving in a disruptive manner. The flight then continued to Glasgow.<\/p>\n “easyJet’s crew are trained to assess all situations and acted quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety of the flight and all onboard was not compromised at any time.<\/p>\n “The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.
