Soho Theatre Walthamstow are \u201csoft launching\u201d their new pub from 5pm today (1st May)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soho Theatre will open\u00a0Soho Theatre Pub, a new neighbourhood pub next door to\u00a0Soho Theatre Walthamstow, with \u201csoft openings\u201d from\u00a0today (1st May)\u00a0followed by a full opening on\u00a0Friday 15th May.<\/p>\n

The pub will serve drinks from\u00a0Blackhorse Road\u2013based Signature Brew, alongside food from\u00a0award\u2011winning\u00a0chef James Cochran\u00a0from Friday 15th May, bringing \u2018fried chicken on acid\u2019, pub roasts, small plates and more to a relaxed neighbourhood pub setting.<\/p>\n

The Collab vacated the site earlier this year, and with the support of\u00a0Waltham Forest Council, Soho Theatre has been able to bring the space back into use as Soho Theatre Pub.<\/p>\n

Soho Theatre Walthamstow\u00a0co\u2011executive\u00a0directors\u00a0Mark Godfrey\u00a0and\u00a0Sam Hansford\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cSoho Theatre Pub builds on the role Soho Theatre already plays in Walthamstow\u2019s cultural and evening life. With food from James Cochran and drinks from Waltham Forest\u2019s own Signature Brewery, it will be a brilliant new local pub for residents, audiences,\u00a0artists\u00a0and visitors alike.\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0excited to open the doors and welcome people in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sam McGregor, Signature Brew and The Collab, co-founder\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cIn 2019, Signature Brew and Paul Human came together to create The Collab, and over the following seven years some epic times were had over amazing food and beer, with the likes of Suggs, alt-J, Mogwai and Dynamite MC all getting involved. Now\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0pleased to be handing over to our neighbours, Soho Theatre, so the great collaboration vibes can continue!\u201d<\/p>\n
