With images set to be released tomorrow, ERT has released a description of what viewers can expect from Akylas and \u201cFerto\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAkylas, on the Eurovision stage, in the context of\u00a0<strong>a video game<\/strong>\u00a0and in a\u00a0<strong>humorous and dynamic way<\/strong>\u00a0, meets four characters (Parthena Chorozidou, Christos Nikolaou, Michalis Michailidis, Konstantinos Makripidis). Then, as a transgression, the representative of Greece, coming out of character, removes his glasses and addresses his mother at an intensely emotional point in the presentation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The delegation is reportedly happy with the first rehearsal, with the performance meeting their expectations. The creative team for the Greek performance is formed of: Christos Maganas (video artist), Yannis Mourikis (set designer), George Tellos (light designer), Philippos Missas (costume designer for Akylas) and George Segredakis (costume designer for the four characters).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Akylas will represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Three years later, Greece earned their first top 5 finish with Paschalis, Marianna, Robert, and Bessy, who finished in 5th place with \u201cMathima solfege\u201d. In 2001, Greece achieved their first top 3 placing with Antique and the song \u201cI Would Die For You\u201d. The song became a European hit and charted across the continent. In 2005, Helena Paparizou returned to the Eurovision stage as a solo artist and brought Greece their first, and to date only, victory.
