There would also be more funding for winter gritting, improved lighting in public parks and action on disabled access around the city.<\/p>\n
Coun Golton said:\u00a0\u201cChange you can trust. Leeds Liberal Democrats are ready to put the council back on track<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen it comes to taking on the problems we face, people tell me it feels like other parties are just interested in looking for a fight, whereas local Lib Dems go looking for solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Coun Golton, who represents Rothwell, said improvements planned by his party would come at no extra cost for taxpayers.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cIt\u2019s the duty of those in charge to make sure our taxpayer money is spent well.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Liberal Democrats are ready to take over the reins at Leeds Civic Hall, and spend our rates better.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter listening to local residents we offered more alternatives to Labour\u2018s Leeds budget than any other party, at no extra cost to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n
