Rail passengers to Edinburgh are experiencing disruption after a signalling fault resulted in trains to the Scottish capital being cancelled.<\/p>\n
Trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow via Airdrie have been cancelled due to a signalling fault around Bathgate.<\/p>\n
The disruption took place on the evening of Sunday, May 11 with services from Edinburgh to Helensburgh via Glasgow Queen Street being cancelled.<\/p>\n

Network Rail Scotland said trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Airdrie may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes, reports Glasgow Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n Trains from Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley via Falkirk High are operating as normal. A spokesperson for ScotRail said: \u201cWe\u2019ve been advised by @NetworkRailSCOT of a signalling issue in the Bathgate area which is disrupting trains that run between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Airdrie.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll keep you updated. We\u2019ve requested one bus for Airdrie and one bus for Bathgate to provide a shuttle bus service between these stations, but these haven\u2019t been confirmed as of now.<\/p>\n \u201cOur Glasgow Queen St to Edinburgh Waverley via Falkirk High services are operating as normal for passengers wishing to travel between the two cities.\u201d<\/p>\n
