A SCOTS actress has been confirmed as part of the star-studded line-up for the highly anticipated Celebrity Traitors.<\/p>\n

Glasgow-born Sharon Rooney is among the 21 A-listers heading to the Highlands for the ultimate game of treachery. <\/p>\n

The 37-year-old, who famously starred as Lawyer Barbie<\/a> alongside Margot Robbie<\/a>, will be joined by a heavy-hitting cast including the likes of Bella Ramsey, James Blunt<\/a>, Leigh-Anne Pinnock<\/a>, Maya Jama<\/a> and comedy<\/a> duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Others include Michael Sheen<\/a>, Ross Kemp<\/a>, Miranda Hart<\/a>, Hannah Fry, Joanna McNally, Amol Rajan<\/a>, Myha\u2019la, James Acaster and Richard E. Grant.<\/p>\n

Jerry Hall, Joe Lycett<\/a>, Julie Hesmondhalgh, \u00a0Sebastian Croft and King Kenny.<\/p>\n

Filming for the second season of the Claudia Winkleman-fronted hit is thought to be already underway at Ardross Castle. <\/p>\n

Produced by Studio Lambert Scotland<\/a>, the series will see the famous faces battle it out to win a cash prize of up to \u00a3100,000 for their chosen charities<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game sees contestants split into \u201cTraitors\u201d and \u201cFaithfuls,\u201d with the Traitors<\/a> secretly picking off their rivals while the group attempts to unmask them at the roundtable.<\/p>\n

Rooney shot to fame with her breakout role as Rae Earl in My Mad Fat Diary and has since become a familiar face on British<\/a> TV.<\/p>\n

Fans will also recognise her as the long-suffering Sophie from the first two series of Two Doors Down<\/a>, where she famously shocked her on-screen mum, played by Elaine C. Smith, with a graphic threesome revelation.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s popped up in projects like Dumbo and been a voiceover artist for animated series such as Robozuna. <\/p>\n

Well known for her down-to-earth screen presence, she\u2019s become a familiar face on British TV.<\/p>\n
