So Megan Walsh<\/a>\u00a0(Beth Nixon<\/a>) survived the Grim Reaper\u2019s big, swinging scythe in Coronation Street<\/a>\u2019s murder week, but according to Corrie boss, Kate Brooks<\/a>, that doesn\u2019t mean she\u2019ll get away with her heinous crimes.<\/p>\n Megan\u2019s grooming and sexual abuse of Will Driscoll<\/a>\u00a0(Lucas Hodgson-Wale<\/a>) has been going on for a long while, with her utilising her position as his teacher and sports coach to keep it under wraps, which she\u2019s done to conceal affairs with previous students.<\/a><\/p>\n When the perfectly precocious Sam Blakeman<\/a>\u00a0(Jude Riordan<\/a>) discovered what was going on, Megan launched a campaign of psychological torture<\/a> against him so brutal that the youngster turned to drugs as she attempted to destroy his much-prized academic record.<\/p>\n Though Sam eventually told all<\/a> about Megan\u2019s abuse, leading to Will\u2019s family learning of her true nature, she\u2019s managed to remain at arm\u2019s length of the law.<\/p>\n With a deeply brainwashed Will refusing to admit the truth to the police, and Megan terminating her pregnancy<\/a>, the only piece of physical evidence that would prove her guilt was lost.<\/p>\n \t\t Eva Price<\/a>\u00a0(Catherine Tyldesley<\/a>), Leanne<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Toyah Battersby<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0(Jane Danson<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Georgia Taylor<\/a>) vigilante missions to force a confession all failed and Megan even managed to turned the tide against the equally manipulative Maggie Driscoll<\/a>\u00a0(Pauline McLynn<\/a>). It\u2019s seemed, at times, that she\u2019s truly untouchable. But will it remain that way? Apparently not!<\/p>\n \u2018Megan\u00a0and Will, there\u2019s a bit of a journey to go on with that story. So obviously she\u2019s been exposed, but Will at this point, he believed it was love. He believed it was all genuine,\u2019 Kate said.<\/p>\n \u2018Scales fall from his eyes and Tim Metcalfe<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0(Joe Duttine<\/a>) going to be so instrumental in kind of making him realise what\u2019s gone on and how unacceptable and how wrong it was.<\/p>\n \u2018Obviously, there are soap Gods, and as in soap God\u2019s law, there\u2019ll be some kind of retribution for\u00a0Megan. She cannot get off of this scot-free. We will go down the proper channels. Whether it goes on to plan or not, I cannot say, but it goes down quite a very big path.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t So that\u2019s it then, Megan will pay for what she\u2019s done. Surely that can\u2019t fix the carnage she\u2019s left in her wake though, right?<\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s showcasing that,\u00a0Megan\u2019s actions have not just directly impacted Will and the Driscolls, Sam\u2019s also collateral damage. People\u2019s trust has been absolutely dismantled because of this woman\u2019s perpetual lie,\u2019 Kate said about the lingering effects of Megan\u2019s reign of terror.<\/p>\n Speaking on the future of the Driscoll clan, Kate said: \u2018It\u2019s about the family falling apart, but then kind of building themselves back up again as they try desperately to kind of repair the damage that\u00a0Megan\u2019s done.
