Leeds United<\/a> have been linked with Sheffield United star Gustavo Hamer, and his manager Chris Wilder seems to have accepted that he is powerless to keep the midfielder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are many areas that Daniel Farke<\/a> is keen to upgrade this summer, and attacking midfield is one of them.<\/p>\n

Some of the options that the Whites have in that area are Brenden Aaronson, Noah Okafor, Anton Stach, and on-loan Brighton star, Facundo Buonanotte.<\/p>\n

Hamer is naturally a midfielder, but has adopted a role on the left side of the pitch since Wilder\u2019s return to the Blades, though he can be seen playing centrally on occasions.<\/p>\n

Aaronson, in particular, is a player most Leeds fans would say could do with upgrading this summer, and Hamer\u2019s ability, energy, and defensive diligence would be welcomed in LS11.<\/p>\n

How did Hamer cope in the Premier League?<\/p>\n

Sheffield United bought Hamer from Coventry City in the summer of 2023, as the Blades then went on to finish rock-bottom of the Premier League that season, almost breaking Derby\u2019s record-low points total.<\/p>\n

Despite this, Hamer had a very respectable season in the top-flight on an individual level, and is now primed for Leeds to buy him, with his prime years in front of him.<\/p>\n
