Glasgow<\/a> fans were caught off guard last night as KNEECAP<\/a> dropped a last-minute bombshell \u2014 announcing two extra shows in the city just moments before taking to the stage.<\/p>\n

The Irish rap trio, who performed at The Garage<\/a> on Sauchiehall Street<\/a> last night, revealed the surprise gigs as part of their ongoing album launch celebrations.<\/p>\n

Glasgow fans will have another chance to see them perform live at St Luke’s & The Winged Ox<\/a> on Monday, May 4.<\/p>\n

Two shows have been scheduled: a matinee with doors opening at 6pm and an evening show starting at 8.15pm.<\/p>\n

Writing on social media<\/a>, the band said: “GLASGOW ye lucky c***s.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve decided to stay another night and throw two more album launch parties TOMORROW (madness).<\/p>\n

“Prova\u00ed just can\u2019t get enough of paradise.<\/p>\n

“Get stuck in with us tomorrow at @stlukesglasgow in the afternoon or evening with the legends at @assai_glasgow who are selling album pre-orders and ticket bundles.”<\/p>\n

Tickets for both shows went on sale at 10pm.<\/p>\n

We reported yesterday<\/a> that organisers of The Garage<\/a> gigs\u00a0reminded fans ahead of their performance that certain items were not permitted inside the venue, including flags, balaclavas, and football strips, and warned that prohibited items would be confiscated.<\/p>\n

Huge queues formed on Sauchiehall Street ahead of last night\u2019s gig, with crowds of fans lining up to get inside.<\/a><\/p>\n

Police also ramped up patrols in the area, with two vans and a patrol car spotted on the street. Officers were seen walking along the road while others remained stationed in their vehicles.<\/p>\n

It comes as Police Scotland<\/a> said a proportionate policing plan had been put in place, working with partners to ensure the safety of those attending the gig.<\/p>\n

The force added that efforts were made to minimise disruption for the people of Glasgow.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland<\/strong><\/a> spokesperson said: \u201cWe are aware of the concerts due to take place at a venue in Sauchiehall Street<\/a>, Glasgow, on Sunday, May 3, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Belfast-based trio, made up of Liam \u00d3g \u00d3 hAon\u00e1idh, Naoise \u00d3 Caireall\u00e1in, and JJ \u00d3 Dochartaigh, have faced controversy in the past.<\/p>\n

\u00d3 hAon\u00e1idh, known as Mo Chara, was charged with a terror-related offence last year after allegedly displaying a Hezbollah flag on stage, though the case was later dropped.<\/a><\/p>\n

The group were also removed from last year\u2019s TRNSMT Festival due to safety concerns.<\/a><\/p>\n
