A big fire in back gardens ‘had started to affect the properties’ nearby the fire service saidBig shed fire in Birmingham street<\/p>\n

This is the moment firefighters were called to a Birmingham<\/a> road in the middle of the night to tackle a large fire.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Fire Service<\/a> received multiple calls to a fire in Comberton Road in Sheldon<\/a> at around 4am on Bank Holiday Monday (May 4).<\/p>\n

Four crews were sent to the scene; two from Sheldon, one from Hay Mills and one Ward End.<\/p>\n

The fire service posted on social media shortly before 4.30am and said: \u201cWe have 4 crews in attendance at Comberton Road, Sheldon area, where they have responded to a shed fire.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease avoid the area, where possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The big shed fire in Comberton Road in Sheldon was caught on camera <\/p>\n

Flames and smoke would be seen billowing from behind a row of houses in the road.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: \u201cWe received calls at 4am, four reports of a shed fire.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe sent four crews to the scene from Sheldon, Hay Mills and Ward End.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe incident involved four sheds on fire.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and there were two hose reel jets, one ladder and working at height equipment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fire had started to affect the properties.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe put the fire out and were checking for any spread but none of the properties were involved.<\/p>\n
