Coronation Street<\/a>\u00a0spoilers follow for Monday\u2019s (May 4) episode, which is now available to stream on\u00a0ITVX.<\/p>\n Murder week has come and gone, and left Theo Silverton<\/a>\u00a0(James Cartwright<\/a>)\u00a0bloodied and cold below the scaffolding on the Street.<\/p>\n There was no two ways about it, he was dead as a dodo, but his wasn\u2019t the only body discovered. After a vicious clash with paedophile Megan Walsh<\/a>\u00a0(Beth Nixon<\/a>) and an emotive exchange with her deeply conflicted grandson, Will Driscoll<\/a>\u00a0(Lucas Hodgson-Wale<\/a>), Maggie Driscoll<\/a>\u00a0(Pauline McLynn<\/a>) was discovered by two young girls, laying on the ground, looking as lifeless as Theo.<\/p>\n Actress Pauline McLynn said last week<\/a>: \u2018I will say this, when I joined the show, I was told that the plan for the character was to kill her. So we shall see!\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018I think you\u2019ll find when you watch all of the five stories that it\u2019s very possible\u00a0more\u00a0than\u00a0one\u00a0person\u00a0is\u00a0dead, that\u2019s another thing I will say. <\/p>\n \u2018And the third thing, is that the wonderful\u00a0Kate Brooks<\/a>\u00a0said to me once, you\u2019re going to get a set of scripts and it looks like you\u2019re\u00a0dead\u00a0\u2013 and you might\u00a0be. I just wanted to warn you! We don\u2019t know.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Yup, our final glimpse of her in Friday\u2019s blood-soaked climax showed that it was incredibly possible that Maggie and Theo would become roomies at the morgue.<\/p>\n \u2018I do seem very\u00a0dead\u00a0at the end of the week. Assume nothing. You might\u00a0be\u00a0being fed\u00a0one\u00a0thing which is true, but it could\u00a0be\u00a0more\u00a0than\u00a0one,\u2019 Pauline teased.<\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s also brilliantly clear that any\u00a0one\u00a0of the five could\u00a0be\u00a0a killer, whether or not they\u2019ve killed the\u00a0person\u00a0you\u00a0believe to\u00a0be\u00a0dead\u00a0or not. It\u2019s brilliantly seeded in. There is a justice in\u00a0Coronation\u00a0Street, if you do a crime, you have to pay the price.\u2019<\/p>\n As it turns out, though, Maggie is very much alive. Not only alive, but awake, and as cantankerous as ever, as we find her in today\u2019s episode eagerly awaiting a cup of tea from Ben Driscoll<\/a>\u00a0(Aaron McCusker<\/a>), as Ollie<\/a>\u00a0(Raphael Akuwudike<\/a>) dutifully sat by her bedside. With things still far from perfect between them, Ben and Maggie prodded at each other and, in the midst of their conversation, it\u2019s revealed that Maggie had suffered a heart attack.<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t only tea she wanted though, it was tea she had, as she revealed all to Ben about Megan\u2019s revelation on Friday. Poor Will was knocked off his feet when he learned that Maggie hadn\u2019t caused Megan to miscarry,<\/a> she\u2019d in fact had an abortion<\/a> as he discovered his grandma and abuser locked in a vitriolic battle atop the stairs to Megan\u2019s flat.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \t\t\t\tDon’t miss a Soaps scoop! Though he desperately clung to his belief in Megan and their \u2018love\u2019, it was incredibly clear that something had changed and something had broken. When Maggie told Ben what\u2019d transpired today, he headed home to find Will, who was still desperately seeking answers from an avoidant Megan.<\/p>\n Furious and determined to remain alone, Will swerved Ben while still denying any possibility that the baby was his. Eva was shocked when she learned the truth, though her previous kidnap escapade<\/a> with Leanne<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Toyah Battersby<\/a>\u00a0(Jane Danson<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Georgia Taylor<\/a>) had left a large chasm developing between her and Ben. Though she and Ollie also tried to reach out to Will, it was hopeless, the damage inflicted by Megan proving still too fresh to overcome.<\/p>\n With the Driscoll\u2019s still in utter turmoil, Maggie has two problems still outstanding: the fact that both Megan and Melanie (Cindy Humphreys) are aware of her big secret<\/a>: that she accidentally killed her first husband. <\/p>\n It\u2019s doubtful that Maggie won\u2019t move to shut them down, but will they take advantage of her heart attack and reveal all first?<\/p>\n Arrow Arrow Arrow![\"Maggie](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/30_04_coro_megan_maggie_02-691a-e1777533952902.jpg\")
