As part of the agreement, Warriors will play a pre-season match at Old Anniesland. The Warriors women\u2019s team will use the school campus as a training venue for the Celtic Challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bryan Easson<\/strong> has added a role with Dundee Rugby to his duties, which already includes the post of head coach at Rugby Netherlands. The former Scotland women\u2019s coach will operate as a consultant director of rugby role for the Arnold Clark National Division Two club, whose second side play in the Midland Regional Leagues. Easson left his position with Scottish Rugby after last year\u2019s World Cup and took on the position with the Dutch Federation ahead of the recent Rugby Europe Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Edinburgh\u2019s most recent signing,<strong> James Grayson,<\/strong> had a disappointing weekend for Mitsubishi Sagamihara Dynaboars in the latest round of Japan League One fixtures. The 27-year-old started on the bench in a 31-22 defeat away to Yokohama Canon Eagles that leaves Dynaboars second from bottom in the league table. At the sharp of the end of the competition, Kobelco Steelers (whose coaching team will be dismantled next season, with the departure of<strong> Dan McFarland<\/strong> to Newcastle Red Bulls recently announced, in addition to previously announced moves for <strong>Dave Rennie, Mike Blair<\/strong> and <strong>Pete Murchie)<\/strong> assumed top spot following a 24-19 win over MIE Honda Heat combined with a 27-24 loss for long time pacesetters Saitama Wild Knights against basement outfit, Urayasu D-Rocks.<\/p>\n<p>Former Scotland and British &amp; Irish Lions centre,<strong> Alan Tait,<\/strong> has joined Blaydon as director of rugby. The 61-year-old played rugby union for Kelso, Edinburgh and Newcastle Falcons, as well as representing Widnes and Leed during a rugby league career that include international honours for Scotland and Great Britain. After hanging up his boots, he was defence coach for Scotland and also coached at Borders, Newcastle Falcons and, more recently, at Super Series side, Southern Knights. Blaydon finished fifth in the Regional 1 North East this season.<\/p>\n<p>An initiative by Bordeaux and the competition organisers, EPCR, meant that visually impaired supporters were able to enjoy the club\u2019s Champions Cup semi-final clash with Bath at the Stade Atlantique on Sunday. An arrangement with the company, Help Visio, allowed 15 fans plus eight carers to follow the action using specialist equipment which provides audio description of the game.<\/p>\n<p>For the second successive week, Sri Lanka pushed New Zealand all the way in a match that featured a weight restriction on the Kiwi side. The first meeting of the pair the previous week ended in a 27-16 win for New Zealand Under 85 kilos, and the second game was another keenly contested affair, which had a final score of 25-10.<\/p>\n<p>Fiji have named a 50-player extended training squad for their three Nations Championship matches this summer, against Wales, England and Scotland on 18th July.
