The announcement follows Scheffler’s unsuccessful bid at the Cadillac Championship, where Cameron Young secured victory with a commanding six-shot margin.<\/p>\n

“I felt like I couldn’t really get anything going,” he said.<\/p>\n

“I just didn’t really get enough momentum going. Wasn’t hitting it close enough and wasn’t holing those 15 to 20-footers when I needed them.”<\/p>\n

Despite the disappointment, Scheffler found reasons for optimism from his week’s work.<\/p>\n

“Overall, some good takeaways from this week,” he noted.<\/p>\n

The top-ranked player was also generous in his assessment of Young’s dominant display, having partnered with the 28-year-old champion for three of the four rounds.<\/p>\n

“Cam played fantastic golf all week. I played with him three out of the four days, and he was hitting a lot of quality shots and making putts from anywhere.
