Photo \/ Google Maps<\/p>\n<p class=\"wrLLDwyWye\" style=\"display:none\">Finn was on tour with Split Enz and was unavailable to comment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wrLLDwyWye\" style=\"display:none\">His assistant said Finn planned to transform the venue into a wellness centre, but couldn\u2019t comment further.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wrLLDwyWye\" style=\"display:none\">Restaurateur Chand Sahrawat, who runs The French Cafe directly across from Edinburgh Castle with her husband Sid, said they were excited by the news.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wrLLDwyWye\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThe site has had its challenges over the years, so a concept centred on wellbeing, connection and a more considered use of the space is a welcome change,\u201d she told RNZ.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wrLLDwyWye\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWe see this as a great addition, something that will contribute positively to the energy, safety and overall appeal of the neighbourhood.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Auckland&#8217;s Edinburgh Castle pub in Eden Terrace has been the site of violence.
