Chris Davies says six in, six out is \u2018around the right figure\u2019 for Birmingham City\u2019s<\/a> summer transfer window \u2013 but that doesn’t include the prospective signings of Jhon Solis<\/a> and Ibrahim Osman.<\/a><\/p>\n Davies<\/a> has made no secret of his desire to re-sign Solis and Osman after their successful loan deals.<\/p>\n Blues have an option to sign Solis permanently and are in discussions with City Football Group<\/a> \u2013 who own the midfielder\u2019s parent club Girona \u2013 in an attempt to thrash out a deal for a player who has proved hugely popular with supporters and staff alike.<\/p>\n FOLLOW ON FACEBOOK! <\/strong>All the latest Blues news on Birmingham Live\u2019s Birmingham City FC Facebook page<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Osman is a much more complicated deal to do given that there is no option in the loan agreement Blues struck with Brighton back in January.<\/p>\n However, Brighton were willing to hand Auxerre a buy option when they signed Osman on loan in the summer and there is hope that the Seagulls can be persuaded to deal.<\/p>\n If Blues can sign Solis and Osman, Davies\u2019 squad will only need fine-tuning for next season.<\/p>\n Asked whether he stands by a quote he gave last month in which he stated six signings and six departures would be his ideal window, Davies said: \u201cI think that\u2019s around the right figure.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ve got to look at some of the loans that we\u2019ve had that we\u2019ll maybe explore. I suppose I\u2019ve included them as being with us still but I know there\u2019s a lot of work to do there.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s around the ball park number, I would say, but it\u2019s quality not quantity. We\u2019ve got to make sure we get them right.<\/p>\n \u201cI know it\u2019s not easy but it should be more possible with less players. When you\u2019re doing 12, 13 or 14 then you\u2019re going to get a few wrong but if we can take our time and really get this right I think we\u2019ve got continuity.<\/p>\n \u201cI know what I think is necessary to take us on to that next level in this league.
